Three of our much loved and followed travel influencers recently visited the fantastic 5-star Asimina Suites.

The trip to Asimina Suites was seamless from start to finish. With the different feedback from travellers regarding airport queues and testing requirements, it was a refreshing picture at London Gatwick, where the airport staff were helpful and queues were minimal. It restored our faith that travel was definitely back but also it can be a straightforward process as long as you are organised.

On arrival at Asimina Suites we were briefed on their covid-19 policies, and told when and where we would be required to wear a mask, as well as information on where to get our antigen test for return to the UK. Asimina Suites have a contract with a laboratory so the tests were done in a private room at the hotel and we had the results within 10 minutes, it couldn’t have been easier.

Cyprus was bustling with tourists and locals, and there was a fantastic atmosphere at local tavernas, rooftop bars and the must-see historic sites. It is hard to pick one favourite moment from our trip as there were so many; AMAZING sunsets; incredible food, both local and International; friendly locals; the weather was perfect, it was mid-to-late twenties making it the perfect weather for chilling by the pool or exploring the many historic sites. We were looked after impeccably by Asimina Suites, they went above and beyond to make our stay seamless, including a daily delivery of champagne and fruit to our rooms, all our transfers, and likewise at our time at Athena Beach. We were treated like royalty at a private champagne and sunset evening, with a 4 course meal at the beautiful waterside restaurant.

We all concluded that Cyprus is a must-see destination which has everything to offer travellers; a short flight, guaranteed good weather, amazing food, friendly locals and we couldn’t recommend Asimina Suites and Athena Beach Hotel enough, they made our stay one to remember!
