Inside Look

What we love: every accommodation option has its own private pool and terrace

Guests are spoilt to their very own stone Pavilion during their stay at Bodrum’s Amanruya hotel. All open out onto pretty Mediterranean gardens, with a dreamy private terrace and swimming pool.

The decor details celebrate the region, like the traditional fireplaces and handmade ‘kilim’ rugs. And there are luxuries to elevate the experience, such as a four-poster bed, Nespresso machine, twin vanities in the bathroom and of course the necessary technology; WiFi, a television and a sound system.

Views are of either the sea or the gardens and whichever of the Pavilions is chosen expect oodles of space, style and privacy.

Taste the Luxury

What we love: pop-up Turkish barbecues on the rooftop terrace with jazz and craft beers

The dining at Amanruya is all about showcasing the incredible, fresh seasonal produce available in Turkey. Think informal meze platters and homemade breads, barbecued fish and local wines.

Guests have the option to dine at the Poolside, which is the hotel’s main restaurant serving Turkish Aegean cuisine in an indoor/outdoor space.

As one can imagine from a name like the Beach Club, here there is al fresco dining by the sea; the perfect spot for seafood and salad at lunch, and a cocktail come evening.

Afternoon tea can be taken in The Lounge. And there is the new sushi bar with its classic plates of tempura, sushi and sashimi.

Immerse Yourself

What we love: free watersports at the Beach Club include paddleboards, snorkelling gear and canoes

The hotel has a retreat feel, and the spa certainly adds to that. Here there is a focus on holistic wellness and traditional Turkish practices, and guest can choose to have their spa treatment in one of the suites, or in the privacy of their Pavilion.

Manicures and pedicures are positioned with a sea view, and a dip in the 50-metre open-air swimming pool is a ‘must’. The yoga and fitness studios and a tennis court offer spaces to feel more energised.

On the hotel’s doorstep are UNESCO heritage sites to explore, horse riding experiences through forests, and vineyards to sample the region’s top tipples. Visitors to Bodrum are seduced by its waters, and guests of the hotel have the Amanruya-I motor yacht to take them out to sea.
