When to Stay
What we love: Décor that makes a statement
With cushioned seating made from local woods like red cedar and mahogany, the rooms have a hint of rustic about them, and they are bright and beautiful in more ways than one! Expect plenty of room, bold artwork, furniture and features made from locally sourced materials and views to stop you in your tracks.
In the Beach House, the sun shines through the French doors and windows, and you can slide over on the swing seat to leave room for your other half.
What we love: Treetop-style restaurant serving pan-seared scallops
The food at Balawoo Restaurant is so irresistible that many guests from other nearby hotels often find themselves there; and after recently introducing a new seafood menu that focuses on locally-sourced food, now all that’s left to do is to try it out! Previously known as the Treehouse Restaurant, we love the wood-beamed ceilings, decorative trees and hilltop views that will have you feeling like you’re in your very own treetop den.
But don’t just take it from us!
“We were visiting Balawoo restaurant from another resort. The restaurant is beautiful and the view is phenomenal. We enjoyed our meal very much. Husband said the steak was one of the best he’d ever had.”
Room for dessert? The Ante Chastanet Resort makes chocolate from its very own cocoa beans grown in the outdoor grounds of the hotel.
What we love: Chocolate-tasting sessions
Choose from a range of truffle-making classes, sensory tasting sessions and visits to the hotel’s choc plantation to find out how their chocolate is made.
Take a bike ride on the wild side by cycling through the jungle or explore the wonders of the deep through scuba diving.
Simply relax on Sugar Beach or enjoy one of the therapeutic body and beauty treatments at Kai Belte Spa.
