What we love: Family rooms with a separate bedroom for the kids
The rooms at Blue Bay were renovated during the hotel’s 2020 facelift. Expect mini-fridges, air con, a television and facilities to make a morning brew.
Pick from a balcony view over the pools, of the beach or of the city. Slippers and a hairdryer are provided, and some of the rooms have a sofa-bed to accommodate children.
Larger families can opt for the two-bedroom family room which has a separate bedroom so kids have their own sleeping quarters.
All of the 437 rooms have their own furnished balcony.
What we love: All-inclusive puds, pizzas and pretty amuse-bouche!
The all-inclusive dining at this Turkish beach hotel is set across three tasty dining options: the main, buffet-style restaurant and Greek and Italian eateries.
Breakfast starts from 7am – great for parents with little ones. Or for guests who enjoy a holiday lie-in there’s a limited buffet for late breakfast between 10am and 11am.
A self-service snack bar and patisserie, and all-day drinks (including local alcoholic wines and beers) will keep the wolf from the door between mealtime gorging.
What we love: Traditional Turkish spa treatments and a kids’ club
With four swimming pools, which include a children’s pool with waterslides and an indoor pool; sunbeds aplenty; and a private stretch of Marmaris Beach; the Blue Bay Platinum Hotel has ample room for guests to find a spot to chill.
The spa centre features a Turkish bath and a fitness centre – with access to some services within the all-inclusive programme.
Younger guests aged between four and 12-years-old receive two, two-hour slots per day at the kids club as part and parcel of their stay. And a programme of games and activities in the day and evening supplement this.
