What we love: The private Chef at the Grand Beach Pool Villa

The 116 accommodations comprise 86 suites, 8 villas, 20 residences and 2 penthouses. Each has been designed by Kelly Hoppen and has a number of luxurious features as standard such as mood lighting, a mini-bar and free high-speed Wifi. 

Junior Suites have been designed using a designer’s loft as their muse... think terrazzo bathrooms with a rainfall shower, a dressing room and a tropical outdoor terrace with a view. The LUX* Pool Residences are ideal for families with two bedrooms, an outdoor area, butler service, swimming pool and living and dining areas. 

Groups seeking an extra special stay should book a LUX* Pool Penthouse with its three bedrooms and vast outside area with pool and barbecue. Or of course you could opt for the Pool Villas or epic Grand Beach Pool Villa that include the service of a chef and butler.

What we love: Ai Kisu

LUX* Grand Baie Resort & Residences Mauritius has four restaurants and two bars.  Beach Rouge is open for three mealtimes daily, with a beach club vibe but à la carte menu and some three bars within the setting. Food is Mediterranean-style with extras including a bakery and fermentation corner.  

Rooftop bar and restaurant Bisou is set around the infinity pool among trees and plants with views of the lagoon. Enjoy a private cabana, tapas-style dishes, and aperitivo with a sunset vista. Afterwards head to Club Ai Kisu for a drink and dancing until 2am.  

For an extra special dining experience Ai Kisu offers Asian fare with theatre, including a Soya Sauce Sommelier and Waravaki straw fire cooking.
