Inside Look

What we love: Views of the Persian Gulf from the terrace

Even at entry level, the rooms at the Chedi Muscat are superb. Peer through the beautiful windows for views over the beach, garden, hotel swimming pool, city skyline and mountains. Worth a mention is the magnificent view of the Persian Gulf you get from the 13-square metre terrace leading off from the Deluxe Rooms.

Across all rooms, you can play some background music off the in-room Bose® Wave® music system whilst making yourself a coffee on the Nespresso machine, and helping yourself to a piece of fruit from the fruit bowl that is replenished daily.

Across the Deluxe Club Rooms, Deluxe Club Terrace Rooms, and Chedi Club Suites, you’ll get VIP access to the Club Lounge, where you can indulge in afternoon tea, snacks, evening cocktails and canapés - so bueno appetite!

Taste the Luxury

What we love: Live music at select restaurants

Ever watched your meal be cooked right before your eyes? Watch talented chefs use only finest ingredients to cook delicious dishes in the four open kitchens belonging to the hotel’s main eatery, The Restaurant. Whilst eating, listen to live piano performances on select evenings throughout the week.

Get dressed up and order Omani lobster at The Beach Restaurant, or try a delicious tagine from the buffet in The Arabian Courtyard. Sushi rolls, salads and sandwiches are on the menu at The Serai Pool Cabana which is a great option for kids, while over at The Chedi Pool Cabana there’s a grown-up vibe with tapas and chilled lounge tunes.

Slip into something casual and cosy up in The Lobby Lounge for light bites and signature cocktail, where Charlotte Hawkins ‘discovered a love for a Lychee Martini’.

Immerse Yourself

What we love: The private beach

The private beach at The Chedi is 370m long and fully serviced, lapped by the Gulf of Oman and with shaded sun loungers to enjoy the view.

Three temperature-controlled swimming pools are set amidst the gardens - there are the two adult-only pools, The Chedi Pool and the region’s longest pool known as The Long Pool, and the Serai Pool for everyone.

“My little mermaid Ella Rose spent nearly every day in the pool and had a whale of a time!”

Charlotte Hawkins, TV Presenter

The two tennis courts are floodlit, there are complimentary yoga classes and a vast health and fitness centre with personal trainers and the latest Technogym equipment.

The Chedi boasts one of the largest spas in Muscat, where there are saunas, a steam room, restorative baths, and an extensive list of health and beauty treatments to choose from.
